This little video is hilarious and invidiously catchy. Or maybe it’s only catchy if you watch it a few dozen times. Whatever the case, over these past couple of weeks, whenever I’d come across anything that sounded at all like “Potter” (such as Cary Grant’s adoptive family, the Potters, in Holiday at BAM the other night), I’d find myself muttering, “Harry Potter! Harry Potter! Oooh, Harry Potter—that’s me!”
It’s kind of sad, really.
My kids quote these all the time – there’s several. And they are equally addicting;)

A few years ago, back when I was still living in a university dorm, I was sitting in the common room reading a newspaper and going, “Snape, Snape, Severus Snape” very softly as I read. And suddenly, at the right time and at the right pitch, I hear, “Dumbledore!”
Cue the giggles.
I second Bev–I have seen all of the Potter Puppet Pals videos because of my kids, and the videos range from amusing to hilarious. My favorite is the live interactive musical show they did a couple of Decembers ago.
But wouldn’t you know, they haven’t yet done a filk renaming Hakuna Matata to Avada Kedavra. I mean, it’s obvious, isn’t it?
